Fair Chance Employment Town Hall: Our Returning Citizens

August 21, 2019 @ 6:00 pm
@ 8:00 pm

We cordially invite you to join us for our very first criminal justice town hall meeting.

The Fair Chance Employment Town Hall will be an opportunity to learn about the current obstacles Idahoans face when returning home after incarceration.

This event is free and open to the public.

RSVP and let us know you are coming.

The discussion will include panelists who’ll provide first-hand insights on the stigma associated with having a criminal conviction and previously being incarcerated and its influence on transitioning back into the community. These insights highlight the need for policies that support Idahoans being able to return to the workforce, provide for their families, and contribute to Idaho’s thriving economy.

We are also happy to announce the official release of our very first Idaho Blueprint Report, which details state-specific data on incarceration rates, criminal justice trends, and proposed solutions and policies that Idaho lawmakers and agencies can take action on to address our prison over-population.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!

**Light refreshments and a no-host bar will be provided.

Limited free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Linen Building. 26 parking spots are available and are marked “Linen”. There is also free and metered street parking in the area surrounding the building and paid parking in nearby garages.
